Note: This is an Adult channel

This is a plugin that creates a new channel in Plex Media Server (PMS) to view content from spankbang.com. It is currently under development and as such, should be considered alpha software and potentially unstable.

Note: The author of this plugin has no affiliation with the spankbang.com site nor the owners of the content that they host.

How To Install

  • Download the latest release and install it by following the Plex instructions or the instructions below.

    • Unzip and rename the folder to "SpankBang.bundle"
    • Copy "SpankBang.bundle" into the PMS Plug-ins directory
    • Restart PMS if need be

Hi guys,

I'm new to Plex and got to the task of setting up a media server on my desktop in hopes to get rid of cable. Found the (what seems to be) wonderful Ccloud TV plug in and quickly went on to try it on my setup box (Roku 4). I instantly got an error saying the file couldn't be played and that I needed to be sure it can be played on my media server.

Fair enough. I tried playing a channel directly from my browser (Chrome) on the PMS and get the message stated in the title. It doesn't happen with every plugin, but it does with every channel within Ccloud TV. Trying different browsers showed the same result. It seems very inconsistent and I've tried to Google a solution for hours to no avail. I read suggestions of disabling direct play and changing the temporary transcoder folder if I had a low storage drive. I tried both of them and on a 2TB drive and still have the problem.

I tried the Bittorrent channel to try and stream earlier and it worked, but now I tried another one and got the same message. Some channels in other apps worked fine and others show the same message. I don't know what else to do as it is being very hard to diagnose the problem. I even restarted my computer and after the reboot when I launched PMS the Ccloud TV channel was renamed to Ccloud TV BETA and it was completely different and almost nonfunctional. I ended up deleting the folder and reinstalling the .bundle package all over again. I do not know an explanation for this.

I have included 2 log files. The first one was after I restarted PMS and tried to watch a channel. It mentions something with the transcoder and access being denied at the end (tried disabled my firewall and everything). The second log is from when I tried to watch a movie with Bittorrent and it shows too much gibberish for me to understand.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge knows what the root of the problem is. My system is Win7 x64 with Plex version 0.9.15.6.

This channel is currently unavailable. (Australian Channels)

Hi all
 
I've recently installed the "UnSupported AppStore" to get access to the following Australian Channels:
- SBS
- Channel 7
- Channel 9
- Channel 10
- TPGTV
 
However when I try to use any of them I am able to browse the content of the sites (eg, shows, episodes..etc) but once I select one to view I instantly get a error message:
 
This channel is currently unavailable.
 
 
I've tried to find a solution and have not been able to as yet...
 
- I was running the official stable release of Plex Server and have just upgraded to 0.9.8.3.96-eee3b6a but still having the same issue.
 
- Tried using both the web console as well as the Plex media player (current stable relese)...
 
- Upgraded Adobe Flash, Unsupported AppStore, cleared browser and applications cache and tried different web browsers (Chrome and IE)
 
- Downloaded a copy of Plex for Home Theater 0.9.10.0-8da125ba but have not installed that just yet and don't expect that to help either.

It is Linux only at the moment, but here is a new TiVo To Go channel.

This uses the TiVo To Go API to allow you to watch a stream of a recorded show, or to download the show to a folder.

 

Sadly the TiVo To Go API does not allow random positioning or an offset into a show, so if you advance past the point you have downloaded while watching live, the stream will restart.

 

I only tried this with a TiVo 2 tuner premiere because it is all I own.

New plugin for LetMeWatchThis

This plugin allows users to watch TV Shows and Movies online from the LetMeWatchThis website. It supports browsing by Popularity, Rating, Release Date, Added Date and Alphabet as well as sub-navigation by Genre. The plugin also supports searching although this is not currently integrated with Plex's universal search. It's been tested to work with Plex Media Sever 9.5.2 and both the OSX 9.5.2 client and the 2.0 iOS Client. It should also work flawlessly with the Windows client and server combo.

The plugin is made available via the Unsupported Appstore to ease long term maintenance. A standalone release package is also available via GitHub.

Known Issues:
 

  • Not all providers are currently supported. In fact, only 2 are, however these 2 seem to be available for most of the content items. If there's a provider which you think would offer even more coverage than the ones currently in there, please post a message to this thread.

If you find any issues with this plugin, please add a post to this thread with a description of the problem and a copy of the Media Server and plugin logs.

Features:

Search & Search Queue

Bookmarking (...is based on Channel #. If a Channel # gets reassigned on the website it will point to the new Channel.)

Pins (Since listing/redirects can change day by day, pin uses the final channel url)

Updater (read below for compatibility with your OS)

Parental Control (Access Control) one can set permanent access option under the Channel Preferences. For Temporary Access (available via all Clients) set an Access Key under Preference first (default is 00000). Then from any Client navigate to Access Control > Set Access Key and enter the same Key. Clear the Key when finished viewing. Note: Preferences only works using the web interface. Access Control is also used by Updater.

  • Plex Media Server:
    • Tested Working:

      • Windows - (Updater works)
      • Linux (Ubuntu) - (Updater to work - cd to Plex Plugin's dir & use 'sudo chown -R plex:plex CcloudTv.bundle')
      • Mac - reported - (Updater untested)
  • Plex Clients:
    • Tested Working:

      • Plex Home Theater (Some working Channels report 'Cannot load M3U8: crossdomain access denied')
      • Plex/Web (may freeze browser, Some working Channels report 'Cannot load M3U8: crossdomain access denied')
      • To Fix 'Cannot load M3U8: crossdomain access denied' - disabling direct play gets around this issue, but it may have issues playing other streams that previously worked fine - here
      • Samsung Plex App
      • Android Kit-Kat (Samsung Galaxy S3)
      • iOS (Apple iPhone6)
      • Plex 8.1 app and also LGtv thru medialink - reported here
      • Vizio CoStar - reported

 

Known issues and future development:

  • Some channels will not play, if so check the cCloud Tv website in the web-browser before reporting with an issue.
  • Currently Radio Channels will not work - support to be added Support added
  • Compatible devices and limitations - Transcoder support is a work in progress

Installation:

  • Download the latest version of the plugin from https://github.com/coder-alpha/CcloudTv.bundle.
  • Unzip and rename folder to "CcloudTv.bundle"
  • Delete any previous versions of this bundle
  • Copy CcloudTv.bundle into the Plex Media Server plugins directory under your user account:

    • Windows 7, Vista, or Server 2008: C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins
    • Windows XP, Server 2003, or Home Server: C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins
    • Mac/Linux: ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins
  • Restart Plex Media Server 


How To Use:

  • No configuration required, however, one can set a private database web url under Preferences. Refer post #2 below.
  • Set the CcloudTv web url (below post #2) before usage without trailing slash under Preferences (Restart App maybe required) and might only work using the Plex-Web as reported - still not clear how to set web url -  click here
  • Search using Channel name 'CNN', Channel number '07', Channel range '5~15'
  • Tip - Search using '1~10', '11~19', '20~29' and so on... to create Search Queue filters for easy navigation

VLC plug-in?

Sorry if this has been discussed before ( would like the links.)

Are there any VLC plug-ins? VLC of course plays all kinds of formats and would be a great step forward given that Plex does not support live transcoding, so some live streams will not play on PMS or remote client/browser. E.g. the raw cable TV stream, .ts and other files.

Seems common sense to me given VLC is all around and open source. Could also solve the Kodi no-one transcoding problem with the same plugin?

Plug-in for EPG/ TV Guide for IPTV streaming to remote browser

Saw the dane22 post Support for Plex Channel plug-ins and did not find any apparent titles.

Any pointers? Kodi has a fair number of EPG/ TV Guides for IPTV, like Ivue2, IPTV Simple Client, PseudoLiveTV, Renegade, FY Film On Guide etc, but lack of Kodi transcoding support means you cannot stream to remote browser or client.

To use USTVNOW make sure to have a free account (or paid account) and type your username/password in preferences. SD/HD streams and option to show free/paid channels for ustvnow in preferences. All Filmon UK channels anywhere in the world without using a VPN. 100+ channels.

(01/16/2016) A few Bug fixes and added an option to choose between four different quality streams for USTVNOW. Also added nine new channels in the USATV category.

(01/21/2016) Added a Canadian category with 8 channels. Global BC, Global Toronto, Global Halifax. The Weather Network Canada, CTV Edmonton, CTV Regina, CTV Yorkton, and CTV Lethbridge.

(03/02/2016) There is no longer an EPG because locatetv.com is shutting down. There may be another in the future but I don't have the time to find a new solution. Added a few new channels and fixed a typo that kept My9 from working.

What can this channel do for you:

  • Stream TV from a TV-Headend service to web, mobile devices and Plex Home Theatre.
  • Choose between many different resolutions to reduce the datarate at mobile usage.
  • The tagged channels will be displayed as different bouquets.

 

What are the requirements?

  • Latest git checkout of TV-Headend. The new of the development introduced api is needed.
  • A little bit more cpu ressources, because this plugin relies on transcoding.

This is the official thread for

Plex2CSV

What this little app/channel can do, is simply to export your library sections into CSV files, allowing you to open up the exported files in like Excel or siml. afterwards.

Do note, that when doing so, to set the encoding to UTF-8

This plug-in will always be considered "a work in progress", and will change rapidly, if devs get an idea, or you guy's suggest something, so fire away

And can currently only export Movie and TV-Show and Audio sections

[REL] ITV Player (UK Only)

Jeez, dissapear for 6 months and your topics get locked!

 

As it would appear that the previous ITV thread has been locked down, it looks like we'll have no choice but to start afresh.

 

An updated version of this plugin is available via here. Github: https://github.com/ReallyFuzzy/ITV-Player.bundle

 

This uses the newest version of the Plex framework and, more importantly, leaves behind the ol'creaky Webkit Site Configs and moves to straight up RTMP streams. This a good thing as it should make the plugin available to servers on all platforms and more clients.

 

However, from reading about these forums it looks like this will still be broken for most clients out of the box as the latest free version of the PMS is broken when transcoding RTMP streams. If you're on 0.9.7.28 and not using the main desktop clients either downgrade to 0.9.7.22 or pony up for the latest Plex Pass version.

 

Edit (2013-08-01):

 

Updated version of the plugin (v.0.5) now available for manual updates via the link above. This adds more navigation options and search. The only thing left to do at this point is Live streams, which may or may not be do-able. Don't hold your breath waiting for those, unless if someone else kindly volunteers the code.

 

Additionally, the plugin will eventually (shortly?) end up in the UAS. Once it's in there, this will be the recommended way of installing the plugin.

Why are iTunes TV Show episodes mixed in with Movies?

Server: Mac (El Capitan) 0.9.15.6
iTunes: 12.3.2.35

When I open the iTunes Movie Channel in any of my Plex clients, TV show episodes are all listed under Movies. In iTunes, these files are all correctly designated as Media Kind = TV Show.

Remove Duplicates

I get a newer file added that is higher quality of a show, when that happens I have to go to that location, remove the older one and update plex.

Is there something that will do this automatically?
