ComicReader is a Plex Channel that allows you to serve comic book archives that are stored on your server.

Currently it supports CBZ, CBR, and CB7 comic archives. CBZ is supported natively, while CBR and CB7 require unrar and 7zip. See the Readme on github for details.

The channel doesn't use a database or metadata, it just acts like a file browser that starts at the directory you specify in the channels preferences.

As a Prime customer, I've started to take advantage of the unlimited photo storage with Amazon. But I'm frustrated as, other than screen-casting, I can't seem to find a way to view these photos on TV. Is there no Plex channel, either official or unofficial, that can perform this function. My house is basically Rokus on every TV, so an alternative would be a Roku app for this, but there doesn't appear to be one. I do see something in the Roku channel store called "Picta," which costs a little bit. I wouldn't mind paying if I knew it would work, but still -- can't believe no one's created an a channel for viewing photos store on Amazon.

How To Install

4. Copy KissNetwork.bundle into the PMS Plug-ins directory
5. Unix based platforms need to chown plex:plex -R KissNetwork.bundle after moving it into the Plug-ins directory (user:group may differ by platform)
6. Restart PMS

Some of you may have followed the recent development on the original Subliminal.bundle by @bramwalet.

I've made some serious changes, improvements and bugfixes to Subliminal.bundle during the last few weeks, with the help of some very nice people such as @PMAdmin, @chopeta, @BlueToxic and others.

As the direction of this project has moved a long way, I thought it was time to evolve from simply being a personal fork of Subliminal.bundle to something more dedicated.

Plugin Description

Sub-Zero aims to solve your subtitle problems by automatically downloading the hopefully best subtitles there are, for your individual video file.

Subtitles are a problem? Yep, they definitely are. I myself use this plugin on a daily basis as my wife has a serious hearing condition where subtitles help us to be able to watch our favourite TV series and movies together. Subtitles pose a generic struggle: matching your media file perfectly. This is as hard as it gets. Thankfully there are a bunch of libraries and services out there, that help with that.

Sub-Zero is far from being perfect, but with recent development and planned features, we're really getting there.

Its core is based on the works of Diaoul, who created the subliminal library, as well as enzyme, to parse MKV metadata. In addition to that Sub-Zero uses the extremely well-made guessit library made by wackou.

Sub-Zero still is under heavy development but has recently reached a stable state. I need you to report bugs and tell me your opinion on new features.

Manual Installation

• go to Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/
• remove old versions (rm -r Sub-Zero.bundle)
• get the current version from here
• unpack it
• restart your plex media server!

Usage

• go to Settings -> Server -> Agents -> Movies/TV Shows
• select the metadata provider you use on your library, e.g.: Freebase (movies) or TheTVDB (series)
• enable Sub-Zero Subtitles (TV/Movies)
• configure them
• refresh your library (or individual movies/TV shows)

Use the following agent order:

Update May 6, 2014:

I've updated the plugin to support the player used. I've also added a number of features.

The plugin supports new options.

 * The use thumbnail options are still availible.

 * You can choose how many episodes display on a page.

* You can reverse the order of the episode listing.

Further, there is now a bookmark option to save your favorite shows for viewing.

I've just made this plugin for WatchCartoonOnline.com.  This is my first plugin and so far most new content works. I consider this beta, so there may be some bugs. Particualarly, older videos on the site used different video players which I don't support.  The author of the site also had an inconsistent way of uploading videos. Some shows have 2 episodes loaded on the same page. For now, I only play the first episode of a given page.

Also right now I'm displaying thumbnails for Catergories and Episodes by default, but this slows things down a good bit. You can disable it in settings to gain a speed up.

Usage

 Tested on Plex Media Server 0.9.9.7 on Windows 7. Requires Transcoding.

To install copy as directed below and then restart Plex Media Server.

Unfortunately it is not the order I watch them in Plex.

MUVIO

What is MUVIO?

MUVIO is an "Extras" agent for Plex Media Server that tries to find music video clips for your music library. The current version of this agent works with Last.fm and Plex Premium Music libraries.

How do I install MUVIO?

You can install MUVIO:

What is Trailer Addict?

Trailer Addict is a metadata agent for Plex Media Server that tries to find trailers, interviews and behind the scenes videos for your movie library.

A Plex movie library with the Plex Movie agent or The Movie Database agent set as primary agent.

Limitations and Known Issues

• Due to not being able to grab certain data directly I had to build a small API that converts IMDb ids to Trailer Addict ids. This API is still a bit slow due to a number of http requests it has to do. Lots of requests are cached, so the more the agent gets used, the faster it will become.

I have PMS running on CentOS 7 on a Mac mini (mid 2011).

I have the following clients:
Apple TV4 (wired)
iPhone 7 (wifi)
MBP 2016 (macOS 10.12.6) (wifi)
Android Galaxy Tab A 10 (wifi)

They're all running the latest versions of Plex.

On the ATV4 subtitles, both embedded and external (downloaded by SZ), are out-of-sync when the "Burn Subtitles" setting is set to "Automatic".
On all the other clients they are in sync (and set to "Automatic").

However, if I change the ATV4 setting to "Always" - they are in sync.

Any idea what's going on? What is it "Automatic" actually does - and why doesn't it work on the ATV4? I'm mostly curious and want to understand what's going on.

PMS and the ATV4 are connected to the same switch (Netgear GS105 1Gbe switch) and the house router is a Asus RT-N66U.

Filmon had always worked spectacularly in Plex until recent months. I purchased a Filmon subscription because I live in Italy and love to watch English TV. Recently every time I play on my Samsung TV (6710 2012 with plex version 2007) it plays for a while maybe minutes , stutters and stops and I get the error response " There seems to be a problem" "A network error occurred". This also started happening on my laptop so I turned off The "prefer HD" setting and it now works well on my laptop but not on my TV. Is there some kid of transcoding problem? Are my settings wrong? I have no Idea what has changed!

• Search requires a language, if searching from the Main Menu the Apps default language is used. If language based Search is required use the search after the Language selection menu.

• Language: Selects the default language preference for Movies section to show. However other language sections can also be selected via the in plugin navigation menu.
• Use proxy for connection: Some Mac/Linux distributions of PMS have a SSL/TLS issue - to circumvent it use proxy connection option under channel prefs.
• Preferred Location: Sometimes Einthusan may serve a movie from a distant server. Chose a server closest to your location for a more steady movie playback experience.
• Python directory (eg. C:\Python27\): Set path to Python (not required if their paths are defined under system's env. variables)
• Firefox directory (eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\): Set path to Firefox (not required if their paths are defined under system's env. variables)
• Enable Debug Mode: Generates a more verbose log file recommended when providing logs for troubleshooting

• Currently does not have login support for premium access. Login support does not seem to add any additional features. If that is not the case please let me know.
• Multi server playback support is not available when connecting via proxy option. This will get resolved once Plex updates their PMS for Linux/MacOS.

• Python 2.7.13 (only for Linux) and..
• Firefox 38.x (minimum version) Firefox 50.x (recommended version) needs to be installed where PMS is running.
• After installing the above two set their path under the channel preferences.
• This channel can be installed via WebTools.bundle or manually follow the directions below.

Trying to use Plex Channels on DS918+. Installed CBS. All videos stop loading at 33%, screen goes blank and eventually returns to the play screen. I am attaching the log files.

My PLEX HGTV app only has one show available now; when I browse to http://watch.hgtv.com/ and pick a show it prompts for provider credentials.

I just have a question so i have this new chromebook and i was wondering how to get the unsupported app store via a chromebook, its not like windows where i can drag and drop the bundle.zip into the respective folder , So i was inquiring how would or could i go about installing this onto the chromebook i have onto the plex server to get those channels...Thank much appreciated J.
