hi everyone,im reasonably new to plex,picked up alot of things in a short space of time,but im having a bit of trouble figuring how to use iptv.i need help as in how to add m3u playlists,where do i find them,and how and where do i install them.and can you only add one playlist at a time.any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Note: PlexSync - which stopped working for recordings a while back - now works again after I upgraded my Ubuntu to Plex Media Server 0.9.11.4. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't break again - but so far it's good (on iOS clients)

I've had MythTV installed and working on my servers for ages (3-4 years) - primarily for recording TV - but is has always been a bit of a pain to actually play back the recordings on the TV in the family room.

So having enjoyed the ease-of-use of Plex with a Roku3 client for a while, I thought I'd try to make a plugin allowing me to watch MythTV recordings through Plex.

The result has passed the family test (ḱids & wife have used it for a couple of weeks now), so I thought I'd share the results, in case anyone else out there could use it:

The plug-in can be found at https://github.com/tschaumburg/MythRecordings.bundle, along with a wiki at https://github.com/tschaumburg/MythRecordings.bundle/wiki, including installation instructions and a load of screenshots.

Note that this plugin requires that you have a Linux server with a working MythTV backend (I can recommend the MythBuntu distribution, which wraps everything in one install - but expect the tuning of channels and setup of program guide data to be a bit cumbersome...:-).

I am new to Plex and start setup my channel, and adding webhood and Trakt scrobbler had been installed.
However, I have nothing from Trakt and found the error code above.

Plex Server seems to find the iTunes xml file, but the Genre category shows 0 in my machine where iTunes shows 30 albums. The Plex genre category also doesn't match the iTunes genre either. I'm using as example my itunes library with Christmas music.

I have completely rewritten the TuneIn-Plugin from @Solvek2 . It doesn't work anymore and I was not able to solve the problem in Servicecode.

An Updatemodul is integrated.

Tested with Plex Web, Plex Home Theater, Plex Media Player (linux + windows7).

INSTALLATION:
* via WebTools.bundle or manually follow the directions below.
* (german) Lade die zip-Datei aus dem Releaseverzeichnis herunter und kopiere den ausgepackten bundle-Ordner in das Plug-Ins-Verzeichnis des Plex Media Servers.
* (english) Download the zip-File from the release-Link, unzip it and copy the bundle into the Plug-Ins folder on the computer running Plex Media Server.

Request Channel

So I wanted to let my users request movies and TV Shows to be added to my server, but I didn't want to install another service so I made a Plex Channel for it. Plex Channel Development isn't the greatest but I think it works well enough.

Features:

• Allow users to search OpenMovieDatabase, TheMovieDatabase, TVDB for movies and tv shows, retrieving summaries and posters.
• Manage the requests from users in one central location
• Couchpotato and Sonarr support is integrated for automation. New: Manage Sonarr shows from within the plugin.
• Pushbullet, Pushover, Email support is also included for notifications whenever a new request is made.

This will be a beta release so it may not be completely stable yet.

I have only tested this with PlexWeb and Android, so there may be more bugs on other platforms. Sometimes Plex won't want to show posters so you might have to manually change from list to another view format. Also in PlexWeb when entering in input, you have to use the searchbar, a new textbox won't pop up. On other platforms there you click the link and a box should pop up. The default Pushover key will have a limit of 7,000 hits per month, if you want to avoid this, you can use your own Pushover keys.

Let me know if there are bugs and feel free to fork the project on GitHub. If anyone would like to create some more icons that would be great as well.

I've selected a movie to sync, did every instructions I read in the Cloud sync guide, but I my movie is not uploading at all.
Transcoding is done, a Dropbox account has just reauthorized, Plex server restarted.
I'm using Plex on a Synology NAS, my version is 1.9.7.4460 - the latest public
Server is accessible from outside network.

I really have no idea what's the problem!

I get the following error with most channels such as SouthPark Channel, Comedy Central, Fox etc..... :

Each time I try to play an episode i get the following error:

BBC Iplayer is the only one that seems to work from what I have tested, I would like to add that I am also a plex pass subscriber whether this makes a difference or not?

I haven’t heard back from the Plex Staff (3 weeks so far) about having it added to the official directory.

ComicReader is a Plex Channel that allows you to serve comic book archives that are stored on your server.

Currently it supports CBZ, CBR, and CB7 comic archives. CBZ is supported natively, while CBR and CB7 require unrar and 7zip. See the Readme on github for details.

The channel doesn't use a database or metadata, it just acts like a file browser that starts at the directory you specify in the channels preferences.

Is there a way to use Stremio, or at least the stremio sources (Juan Carlos Torrents, RARBG, EZTV, Popcorntime, etc...) in a channel to see movies and series as easy as in Stremio?

I have a plex plugin that doesn't work on the log files it shows login failure. How do I go about troubleshooting this issue.

It is Linux only at the moment, but here is a new TiVo To Go channel.

This uses the TiVo To Go API to allow you to watch a stream of a recorded show, or to download the show to a folder.

Sadly the TiVo To Go API does not allow random positioning or an offset into a show, so if you advance past the point you have downloaded while watching live, the stream will restart.

I only tried this with a TiVo 2 tuner premiere because it is all I own.
