About:

WebTools is a collection of utilities to help with the management of your Plex Media Server.
This plugin is not limited to the usual channel interface. Instead, it utilizes a built-in web-server to display a responsive web interface which also works on mobile devices, allowing you to manage your Plex Media Server from any device.

Usage:

After installation, to use this plugin, browse to http://<IP of PMS>:33400
Do NOT click on the channel menu, but browse directly in a new browser tab

I cannot play any content from my plugins since last update. What do I need to do?
They all worked two days ago. I also cannot play any of my News. Keep getting playback errors.

I've recently started seeing the following behaviour - I'm not aware I've changed anything.
When I start playing a downloaded TV programme, Plex fetches a sub title file (I'm using the sub zero plugin) The downloaded file is for full English sub titles (my default language) but appears to be marked as forced. This causes Plex to display the subtitles in the way I would want it to if this was a forced sub title file.
The two questions are
1 - Why have these files recently started to download - upto a few weeks ago, no sub title files were downloaded?
2 - Why is the file marked as forced, causing Plex to incorrectly display it?
This is proving rather annoying as I have to keep turning sub titles off. In addition this can cause me transcoding issues as the subs have to be burnt to the video stream and my Netgear NAS can struggle.
A bit more info...
Just had a look at one of the sub files(I hadn't realised they were plain text!) the file is called show_name.en.forced.srt. The file is obviously a full transcript of the show, and at the end it says its from www.Addic7ed.com (as a subtitle), however I do not have this provider enabled on sub zero.
So a couple of thoughts
1-Where at the sub files coming from? (it would be good if sub zero could tell you this)
2-Have they been named incorrectly? Does Plex use the en.forced to determine the type of sub file?

Hi,

trying to logon at PLEX (Version 1.12.1.4885)@RPI on http://192.168.178.30:33400/login results in a message "Wrong username and/or password" alas UID/PWD is correct. Cross-checked.

The RPI runs on DietPi_RPi-ARMv6-Stretch.7z and is a v6.1 RPi 3 Model B (armv7l), 1GB RAM
I can't provide logs as I have no idea how to get them.

Any workaround?

About
What this little app/channel can do, is simply to export your library sections into csv or xlsx files, allowing you to open up the exported files in like Excel or siml. afterwards.
It also can export posters, in the size you decide

Note: If running PMS on Windows, and exporting into xlsx format, you must be running a version above PMS V1.3! And if not, use csv output format until upgraded

Currently exports Movie, TV-Show, Audio, Photo sections as well as playlists

Do note, that when doing so, to set the encoding to UTF-8 in excel, if exporting to csv.

This plug-in will always be considered "a work in progress", and will change rapidly, if devs get an idea, or you guy's suggest something, so fire away.

Introduction

This plug-in was created for personal usage stream from my HDHomeRun PRIME to Roku 3. This allows up to 3 TV streams to be viewed by 3 different clients simultaneously. Due to Plex limitations with live streams, I  wouldn't recommend buying a HDHomeRun device solely to run with Plex and this Plug In. This plug-in should work with DLNA-enabled HDHomeRun (PRIME, PLUS, DUAL Gen 4).

Known issues:

• Since there is no way to give user feedback about the current progress of the background downloading, when pressing the final play button, be a bit patient. You can also try pressing play again as most client tend to have an internal timeout.
• No subtitles yet as channels don't support subtitles yet.

You can use this thread to report issues but the GitHub repository would be a better place. Also, pull requests for bug-fixing and new features are always welcome. Same goes for donations

Hello everyone,

New to the Plex Pass!

All the channels that i try to add, i Just get the message : "This channel is not responding." for ALL the channels.
None of them works.
Is it again because I'm in Canada?? (yes my regional settings are Canada)

Common Sense Media

What is Common Sense Media?

Common Sense Media is a metadata agent for Plex Media Server that adds their recommended age as content rating. It will optionally add a short description as tagline and the Common Sense movie review to reviews.

At the request of Common Sense Media (the rights holders to the metadata), information about - and links to - this community metadata agent have been removed.

Ok on iMac but silent on TV. All software up to date. Movies, TV shows (residing on my server) etc are all fine
