About:

The Unsupported Appstore (UAS) is a plugin running under the WebTools bundle, and is meant to ease the process of finding, downloading, installing, updating and (if need be) uninstalling unsupported Plex plugins.

Please note that the plugins available here-in are not supported by the Plex Media Server "Plex Online" store for a reason (possibly more than one reason). They may be unstable, unfinished, or provide access to content which may be offensive. If you are having trouble with any of the plugins available through this app, please go to the respective plugin's support thread.

The authors of the Unsupported Appstore take no responsibility for the content/stability/suitability of the contained plugins and any complaints or requests for support in relation to specific plugins will be ignored.

UAS V1 compared to V2:

The main differences between the two versions are:

• V1 is no longer working, and disabled on GitHub
• V2 interface is not limited to a regular channel interface, but is a responsive interface, that also works from mobile devices
• V2 does not automatically update outdated plugins. You have to initiate that from within the UAS V2 interface

What is the meaning of this thread?

This thread is for handling support for the UAS2 itself, and NOT for any of the plugin's that get's installed with it.
So...Simply put....

• If the plugin installed, then go to the plugin support thread for questions! (Also if it simply isn't working for you)
• If a plugin failed to install, then continue in this thread
• If the plugin can't be uninstalled, then please go ahead, and post here
• If a plugin is missing here, then go to the plugin support thread, and ask the author to add it

Usage:

To use UAS, browse to <"Your-PMS-IP-Address":33400>
(Use the above address only if you're using the defaults, that can be changed if needed, and if so, visit the WebTools Thread once more)

After doing so, you should see a screen like:

After you have logged in, you are presented with the main screen, where among the modules you will find the "Unsupported AppStore"

Then, when clicking on the UAS link, you should see:

And the buttons and functions are all explained on the webpage, so go ahead, install Webtools and enjoy Plex on a whole new level.

I made an m3u channel that I want to use in roku to see tv.. The problem is that I need to use the pc as a server so Roku can get the channel. My question is if teres a way to get the channel even if the server is offline. Like using a cloud as the plex pass

Why am I not able to use any of the channels after i install them?

1. Visit https://simkl.com/apps/plex/ and copy the Webhook URL

3. Click “Add Webhook” on the Plex website.
4. Paste the Simkl Webhook URL and click Save.

I do not know if the issue is the M3U playlist I am providing or something else because the log file shows no errors. All the channels that come pre loaded with the plugin works fine but when ever I add a channel to the list I get there was a problem playing video message, so far I have not been able to get anything to play except the channels that came pre-loaded. Can someone provide a link to a reliable M3U list so I can dig deeper into this, here are my log files.

CBS channel shows on NVIDIA all give same error:

What this little app/channel can do, is simply to export your library sections into csv or xlsx files, allowing you to open up the exported files in like Excel or siml. afterwards.
It also can export posters, in the size you decide

Note: If running PMS on Windows, and exporting into xlsx format, you must be running a version above PMS V1.3! And if not, use csv output format until upgraded

Currently exports Movie, TV-Show, Audio, Photo sections as well as playlists

Do note, that when doing so, to set the encoding to UTF-8 in excel, if exporting to csv.

This plug-in will always be considered "a work in progress", and will change rapidly, if devs get an idea, or you guy's suggest something, so fire away.

If Plex2CSV is currently installed, please remove it, since it's discontinued, and everything Plex2CSV could do, this tool can as well, and a lot more!

After a small learning curve I managed to get SmoothStreams installed as a Channel on my server. But, there is always a but, none of SmoothStreams streams work. They all give me a - This channel is not responding - whenever I access them.

I've checked my SmoothStreams setup against what is recommended on their PDF (attached) and on their site. Access problems from both the server and from my phone.

I suspect a setup issue, but not sure what. Recommendations, suggestions, would be much appreciated.

2016-03-21 Update: Now with EPG!

I was unable to find a plugin that would allow me to play custom streams, so after days of learning Python, with help of shopgirl284, Mikedm139 and examples found on this forum, I created my first Plex plugin; I present You Plex plugin that plays network streams (a.k.a. IPTV) from a M3U playlist:

OneTechGenius also made a video guide on how to set up various Plex channels including this one, You can find it on Youtube, a written version is also available.

Included sample playlist is outdated. You can find some playlists scattered along this thread (like posts #388, #399, #407, #417, #457, #500, #501 and so on) or just google for them.

 At the moment plugin supports HTTP and RTSP streaming protocols, RTMP also works with some limitations, and MMS did not work for me on any device, some users report that it works in Android and Plex Web.

Please keep in mind that this plugin does not actually play videos by itself, it only passes links to Plex in a format understandable to Plex and the playback is done by Plex client, and it is a known fact that Plex Media Server does not transcode live streams so you might need a third party transcoder like VODServer if client is unable to transcode streams by itself, please read post #97 (especially Apple TV owners) and compatibility section of readme file for more information.

If plugin does not work for You or You don't like it or don't like Plex, but still want to watch IPTV on your Smart TV or other device, You can check post #194 for alternative solutions, but in any way please consider making a small donation if I was of any help for You.

• Links on Google 2 Server may not work on certain clients due to a cookie issue with Plex client - mentioned here. Not yet confirmed, try it with your client. Edit: This should not be an issue since the mentioned issue affects files hosted on Google drive and is not related to the types of Google server used here.
• Read the ToDo list below with other issues and for fixes to expect in the next version.

Installation:

I have several interfaces that I use. Android Phone, Android Tabet, Roku 1 and 2, and Web interface; the Plex Comedy Central Channel is not working on any of these platforms. Please advise.

For the past two weeks it would only play the first segment; then hang.

This week it does not even play at all. On Roku interface and web.

I have fully rewritten the TuneIn channel
Now it plays fine almost all stations and shows.
It also lists a user stations separately and even custom streams (user added to his tunein account)

I use plex to stream Video and Music to my devices locally and through the Internet as well. I, now, would like to stream TV channels I get through an m3u protocol. I'd be so grateful if you can help me set that up. Your help is highly appreciated.

This is a Plex channel for the Travel Channel website.

The channel is currently available for download from Github at https://github.com/shopgirl284/TravelChannel.bundle. It is also available through the Unsupported AppStore V2.

Client and Region Restrictions: .
You must be located in United States to use this channel, because the Travel Channel websites chooses to restrict their content to US residents only.

I know others have mentioned issues also but I'll reiterate with the latest PMS version, FOX and Comedy Central are issues.

The menus work up until you select an episode to play and get the "There was a problem playing this item"

Surprised this hasn't been addressed as its been ongoing for a few weeks now from what I can see.
