Apologies if already addressed, though I didn't see it in any of the channel-specific threads. I've noticed that nearly every Viacom channel plugin (CMT and Comedy Central being the ones I've particularly noticed) causes my PC to have an unusual amount of CPU/HDD activity - often even causing the thing to overheat and shut down entirely. This doesn't happen with any other channel or media playback, only these channels that happen to share their Viacom roots.
Any ideas what's up here, and/or does anyone else have a similar issue? What it is it about the Viacom channels that seems to put so much more strain on the host PC than... well, basically anything else? The PC I have running PMS is a piece of crap (Win 7 Acer laptop), but on many occasions I can't even make it through a single 21-minute episode without a shutdown when trying these channels even though you can throw anything at it without problems otherwise.
