shared server for channels

Hi,

If I setup a shared server (accessed remotely) and a client is accessing the channel to stream the videos (mp4, m3u8) that requires no transcoding on the server. Would the traffic be going from the source video to my pc and back out to the client, which will eat up my bandwidth or will it go from the source to the client?
