I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong area, but I've been having trouble with simple streaming of radio stations lately. I like to listen to KEXP Seattle almost everyday. I have to admit to being confused about where, or with whom, the issue might lie, but here it is...I set up Plex to play internet radio and it usually comes on and starts playing. Everything seems fine, but suddenly it'll stop and go silent. Sometimes it cuts back in and sometimes it just gives up and bounces to the next radio station listed in my favorites. I think I can rule out the radio stations themselves because it happens on all the stations, not just KEXP, but it's so annoying. Sometimes I'll get half an hour, sometimes five minutes, sometimes two hours, but eventually it always arbitrarily jumps the track and changes stations on its own. Sometimes it's deliberate (as in it stays stuck with no sound for minutes at a clip until it bounces to another station) and sometimes it's instant, but it happens everyday now. My internet connection is cable and it seems fine, but maybe it cuts out from time to time without my knowledge. You can't tell by my computer though. My cell phone and Amazon Echo work fine while this is going on...I don't even know what to do. I upgraded my Marantz firmware and updated Plex on the PC. I have no throat to choke as I'm using the free Plex software and the stereo works with other similar software, but it's all included. I could badger Comcast, but I'm streaming free media so I'm guessing they won't have a clue. So frustrating...Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone has gone through this as well. Thanks in advance.
