Hello all,
Apologies if this is not the correct area to ask this question but I'm trying to find out where there is support for the cCloud plugin.
I have an issue where some channels play fine but others give the notorious "cannot load m3u8 crossdomain access denied". I understand what this error is and most forums say it's related to Flash's crossdomain security but none of the suggested "fixes" have worked. I run Plex on Chrome. I have the same issue on local server as well as through the plex.tv web app.
I also have this plugin installed on XBMC (Kodi) and all channels play fine. I can only assume XBMC isn't using flash if that is in fact what the issue is.
I live in Plex and would prefer to get this working in Plex. The primary reason is for easy casting through Chromecast which Kodi doesn't have.
So I have tried:
1. Starting plex without web security.
2. Ensure there is a crossdomain.xml (there is one in Plex). I'm not sure if I need to modify this. I'm assuming it's there for this very reason and probably doesn't need modifying.
3. The same problem happens in FF and IE (although FF just spins and spins and doesn't produce this error). I also eliminate web security on these browsers (and selected to allow crossdomain content in IE).
4. Cleared cache.
5. Made sure flash is enabled through Chrome plugins.
6. Some forums suggested this is a firewall issue but given all channels work on Kodi I'm assuming this is not an issue unless I have to enable some specific to web browsers.
7. Refreshed channels.
If a log is needed I can give that. Just let me know what to provide. I looked at the ccloud plugin log file and I am seeing a couple "no service found" errors which could be related to the channels I'm trying but as mentioned all are working in Kodi so not sure if Kodi is keeping up to date with changes to steam URLs and the Plex version isn't. I would have though refreshing the channel list would keep it up to date.
Thanks.
Karen
