I'm likely going to use Tablo to get OTA live tv within Plex, HOWEVER - I am curious how people are:
Transfering recorded programming to their main Plex media library (since it is by default recorded and stored to a external HDD directly connected to the Tablo appliance). Also if people are converting the initial HLS formatted files into something else (if I understood from Tablo correctly what file format they use for recorded programming).
The reason for transferring recorded content from the Tablo (well it's attached HDD) to the Plex Media Server/Library is that I store my other media in a RAID configuration that is auto backed-up to Amazon Glacier (Amazon's S3's SaaS backup storage service).
Also I want all of my media content accessible within my library rather than in channels - at least as much as possible. I do understand that their is a 3rd-party Tablo app for Plex that many are using, and I intend to use it for watching live tv - again the above is mostly about after recording programming.
